Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Worker Housing Needs Assessment and Planning study The proposed Worker Housing Needs Assessment and Planning study will be conducted to support an upcoming World Bank investment program Urban Competitiveness and Regeneration Project (UCRP) design and implementation. The objectives of this study are (i) to assess the impact of the leather and wool industry relocation on the workers ability to access adequate and affordable housing in Emeelt or elsewhere, and (ii) to develop alternative scenarios to deliver safe, adequate, and resilient housing for the workers. Specific attention will be provided on gender and climate change aspects in undertaking this study. The study will provide inputs to the UCRP project design and preparation. The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
