Tenders are invited for GAE Model Science Lab and Retrofitting Civil Works. nonrefundable fee of MNT 250,000/- The method of payment will be direct deposit to Treasury account #100900011858. Deadline for Submission of Bids: 3 March 2023, 11:00 AM, Ulaanbaatar time (GMT +8). The Government of Mongolia has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Sustaining Access to and Quality of Education During Economic Difficulties Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing for payment under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB. The Ministry of Education and Science (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of CW-15: GAE Model Science Lab and Retrofitting Civil Works (“the Works”). National competitive bidding (NCB), will be conducted in accordance with ADB-s SingleStage: One-Envelope (1S1E) procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document. Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding: • Participation in at least one contract that has been successfully or substantially completed within the last 3 years (2019, 2020, 2021) and that is similar to the proposed works, where the value of the Bidder-s participation exceeds MNT 315.7 million. • Minimum average annual construction turnover of MNT 394.6 million calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last 3 years (2019, 2020, 2021) • Financial Resources Requirement is not less than MNT 197.3 million. • Li License for works is: Required. Following special licenses from the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development are required: - If the licenses were obtained under 2017/2018 regulations - BA 8-1 Construction rehabilitation, decoration, interior, landscaping is required. - If the licenses were obtained under 2013 regulations - 2.1.1. Construction rehabilitation, decoration, landscaping is required Bids must be delivered to Sustaining Access to and Quality of Education During Economic Difficulties Project, Sukhbaatar district, Baga toiruu-1, 8th khoroo, City Center Building, 8th floor, Room 802 on or before the deadline for submission of bids of: 3 March 2023 together with a Bid Security as described in the Bidding Document. Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for bid submission in the presence of Bidders- representatives who choose to attend.
