• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Civil Works for Construction of Khan-Uul District, 3rd Khoroo, School No 18, Expansion of 320 Seats. The Government of Mongolia has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Sustaining Access to and Quality of Education During Economic Difficulties Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing for payment under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB. The Ministry of Education and Science (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of CW-19: Civil Works for construction of Khan-Uul district, 3rd khoroo, School No. 18, Expansion of 320 seats (“the Works”) National competitive bidding (NCB), will be conducted in accordance with ADB-s Single Stage: One-Envelope (1S1E) procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document. The Bidding Document, in the Mongolian language, may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address mentioned above and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of MNT 250,000/- The method of payment will be direct deposit to Treasury account #100900011858. Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding: • Participation in at least one contract that has been successfully or substantially completed within the last 3 years (2019, 2020, 2021) and that is similar to the proposed works, where the value of the Bidder-s participation exceeds MNT 2.24 billion; • Minimum average annual construction turnover of MNT 2.24 billion calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last 3 years (2019, 2020, 2021). • Financial Resources Requirement is not less than MNT 1.34million. • License for works is: Required. Following special licenses from the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development are required: Bids must be delivered to Sustaining Access to and Quality of Education During Economic Difficulties Project, Sukhbaatar district, Baga toiruu-1, 8th khoroo, City Center Building, 8th floor, Room 802 on or before the deadline for submission of bids of: 2 March 2023 together with a Bid Security as described in the Bidding Document. Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for bid submission in the presence of Bidders- representatives who choose to attend.
